Nivedita ShivRaj, vocalist and veena player is a composer, performer, teacher of carnatic music. She composes original music and authors books. She presents music concerts and workshops, and teaches music (both vocal and veena) in the USA and other countries.

Nivedita ShivRaj was a resident composer at the historic Flushing Town Hall from May 2009 to July 2009.
She presented a concert of her new compositions at Flushing Town Hall.
